Mark Roche P.T.A.
Mark started his clinic in 1989, training and treating active people. He earned his Exercise Physiology degree from Cal State Fullerton and Vanguard University while playing basketball, and completed his studies at Cal State Long Beach. He trains and treats many professional athletes, such as Olympic gold medalist volleyball player, Misty May, X-game skater, Fabiolia, baseball all-star, Jeff Kent and Renee Garcia, former Angle’s MVP, and many others.
Mark has a unique technique for healing injuries, accessing the entire body with movement and function. He and his therapist use manual therapy techniques with state of the art lasers and modalities. Natural Health also has an extensive gym for strengthening and muscle re-education. Advanced training with the Quick Twitch equipment is also available. Mark enjoys surfing, his wife, beach volleyball and wrestling with his two sons.
Aaron Berger M.P.T.
Over his 12+ years at Natural Health Sports Therapy, Aaron has established himself as a skilled and trusted orthopedic physical therapist within the community. He specializes in rehabilitative therapy with a concentration on alignment correction, muscle symmetry, manual therapy, and overall increased performance. A true full-spectrum therapist, Aaron is experienced in rehabilitation for everyone from elite athletes to weekend warriors to adolescents to Medicare patients. Aaron received his Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Cal State Long Beach and enjoys beach volleyball, surfing, snowboarding and spending time with his wife and two children.

Dr. H. Rey Gubernick
Dr. H. Rey Gubernick, or better known as Dr.G, has been treating patients for over 25 years and has firmly established his niche in the action sports industry. Dr. G joined the combined practices at NHST in 2007.
Dr. G went to B.Y.U. where he played football, transferred to U.C.L.A. then completed his studies at Los Angeles Chiropractic College in 1989. He has a passion for his healing work, using manual therapy and diversified techniques with state of the art equipment including PEMF and acoustic sound wave therapy.
Karina Paonessa, PT, DPT
Karina comes to us with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from West Coast University. Her interest in physical activity and movement started at a young age where she participated in cross country, soccer, and track. At the University of California, Santa Barbara, she joined the triathlon club team and completed 6 half marathons. She now fills her free time exploring hiking trails, dancing, roller skating by the beach, and lifting weights.
Karina believes that movement is medicine, and that everyone has the potential to heal themselves from the inside out. Her goal is to provide patients the tools they need in order to help them reach their therapy goals . She does this through education and motivation while fostering a fun and healing environment.
